Recipe Instructions
- In a bowl combine mayo or butter, cherry pepper spread, chopped garlic, parsley, and salt & pepper.
- Slice your baguette vertically making sure both sides are connected, so don’t cut through the bottom. Once you have your baguette open, spread your garlic mixture on both sides of the baguette.
- Sprinkle about an ⅛ cup pecorino romano cheese evenly on both sides, then close the baguette, and wrap it in tinfoil.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- On a baking sheet with tin foil add the whole bag of @CookedPerfect meatballs. Place the meatballs and the baguette in the preheated oven and cook for 25 minutes. Remove the baguette from the oven after 15 minutes.
- Then after 25 minutes remove the meatballs from the oven. Take half the meatballs and slice them in half, set aside the remaining meatballs. Open up the baguette and add those sliced meatballs onto both sides, top with the marinara sauce, sliced fresh mozzarella, ⅛ cup grated pecorino romano, fresh parsley, and then top with salt & pepper.
- Leave the baguette open on the tin foil unwrapped, and broil it in the oven until the cheese it melty.
- Tip: Fold the tin foil over the edges of the baguette before broiling, this will prevent the edges from burning.
- Add the remaining meatballs into a bowl. Top them with the marinara sauce, a sprinkle of grated pecorino romano, and fresh parsley. Serve them alongside the garlic bread meatball hoagies! Make it!!
